The Marshall District Library will be competing against libraries nationwide in a For Dummies display contest. For Dummies series publisher John Wiley and Sons are holding a contest to encourage libraries to create original, creative book displays that feature the For Dummies book series.
The For Dummies book series is a series of self-help books on over 500 different topics – everything from scrapbooks, to computers, to income taxes. The top four prize winning displays will be chosen in April and will win up to 50 For Dummies books of their choice. Four honorable mentions will also be chosen and will receive a trophy. The Marshall District Library will currently have their display of almost fifty For Dummies books up until March 12.
